Day 1 Arrival Urumqi (L,D)
Transfer via: Come to Urumqi airport . Meet by our guide and driver. Transfer to the hotel.
After a lunch, city sightseeings.Visit Xinjiang National Museum.Welcome dinner in Uigur restaurant.
Day 2 Urumqi-Burqin (B,L,D)
Today full day drive to north. On the way, we stop and see the Kalamaili Ungulate Wildlife Reserve, Huoshao Mountain and the Guerbantonggut Desert in the center of Junggar Basin (the second largest desert of China and the largest fixation and half-fixation desert covering 4.88 square kilometers) on the way. In the evening come to Burgin and overnight in 3* hotel.
Day 3 Burqin-Hemu (B, L, D)
Drive 4.5hrs and reach Hemu village. Hemu attraction was praised as one of the six most beautiful ancient village of China and the "private plot in the backyard garden of the god".You have a chance here to meet Tuvan people,who are originally from Ancient Turkic people and keep shaman culture. Overnight in 3* hotel.
Day 4 Hemu-Black Lake (B, L, D)
Meet horserangers and ride on horse back towards Black Lake and enjoy the beautiful alpine flowers, lakes, grasslands and snow mountains. Pls,don’t gallope to avoid accidence.Overnight in tent.
Day 5 Black Lake-Kanas Lake (B, L, D)
Today we continue our horse ride further. Good opportunity to take photos of the beautiful sceneries of the Black Lake,which is also named 1000 Lakes with big and small lakes in good order. Visit the deer farms and overlook Kanas Lake. Then ride to the famous Kanas Scenic Spot to visit the Moon Bay, Fairy Bay and Dragon Bay. To the north of Kanas, there is the snowy Kuytun Mountain and towering Friendship Mountain.Overnight in tent
Day 6 Kanas-Burqin (B, L, D)
Start our drive (4hrs) back to Burgin. Visit the Fishing Pavilion and listen to the tales of the lake monsters. The Fishing Pavilion is also called Cloud Pavilion or Rain Pavilion because the sky seems quite close here. The snowy Friendship Mountain, located in the joint border of China, Mongolia, Russia and Kazakhstan, is towering in the northeast. Among the mountains, there is blue lake waters melt from the snowcap. The color of the lake changes with the changing clouds, just like phantasmagoria. When it rains, the whole lake was covered in a mist-a separate world. After visiting Tuwa Village, drive to Burqin and shoot the sunset at the gorgeous Multicolored Beach.

Day 7 Burqin-Wuerhe/Urumqi (B, L, D)
Continue our drive to Urumqi and visit the 10 square-kilometer Demon City. More than 10 million years ago, Demon City was a huge freshwater lake and the paradise of aquatic animals: thick plants grow by the lakeside and primitive animals including Wuerhe stegosaurus, plesiosaur and dinosaur lived there. Then the land was formed after two times of huge crustal movements.

Day 8 Urumqi (B)
Be transferred to the airport after breakfast and return home.
Some recommendations:
Summer months in Altai are from early May to late September.Although the summers are hot and dry with occasional rain, the temperature can fluctuate as much 20 degrees centigrade between day and night.So be prepared for all weather conditions.
What to bring:
Binoculars,sunscreen,a hat,gloves,long underware for travel in the high mountains,comfortable footware,lip balm,sanitary hand wipes,sunglasses,prescription medications,(if needed),rain gear,flashlight.
Transport:
The bus with A/C will make transfers. The services of some herdsmen will be hired by the expedition, and they will provide us with their animals.
Staff:
A local guide who speaks English and Kazakh(Chinese) will accompany the group at all times.A cook will follow during horse ride. In addition, the services of the local herdsmen will be hired along with their animals.The horsemen follow a traditional lifestyle in the areas where we will be riding.
Meals:
Our cook will prepare the meals.We pride ourselves in having cooks adapt to Chinese, uigur ,Kazakh and western cooking on our trips.There are always vegetables available, and we have no problem accommodating vegetarians on our trips.
